Supporting Local Families in Need

Long Island Cares serves as Long Island’s first food bank, providing food to nearly 400 partner agencies across Nassau and Suffolk counties. With a 44% increase in demand for food assistance this year, Long Island Cares is striving to keep shelves stocked to meet community needs this holiday season. Donations collected at our dealership will directly support Long Island Cares’ mission to end hunger on Long Island.

How You Can Participate

Customers and community members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the dealership throughout November. Generation Buick GMC’s Food Drive is a meaningful way for local residents to give back during the holiday season. Some highly requested items include canned vegetables, fruit, stuffing mix, mashed potato mix, gravy, and dessert mixes.

We are also excited to contribute $25 per vehicle sold to Long Island Cares to further support their efforts in providing meals and resources to families, children, seniors, and veterans in need.
